Unarco Material Handling, Inc. announces the appointment of George W. Prest as Director, Business Development.

Unarco Material Handling, Inc., Springfield, Tennessee - A manufacturer of pallet rack and warehouse storage systems, announces the appointment of George W. Prest as Director, Business Development. Mr. Prest has over thirty years in the industry with Prest Rack and has served as Past President of the Rack Manufacturing Institute (RMI). He is currently the Vice Chairman and Finance Chairman of the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA). His involvement in the industry also extends to his work as President of the Material Handling Education Foundation which strengthens the industry’s exposure and raises awareness through educational programs and scholarships.

Mr. Prest will help develop new business segments and strategic partnerships. His vast knowledge of the industry and its products will support Unarco as it expands its focus after last year’s acquisition of additional plants across the United States.

Unarco is a Tennessee Corporation, wholly owned by Renco Group of New York. Unarco manufactures steel storage racks and engineered pick modules for warehouses, distribution centers and retail stores with plants in Springfield, Tennessee; Lewisville, Texas; and Pandora, Ohio.
